Hi I've been doing soooooo much riot grrrl research and I need to find some fellow grrrls and ghouls whether your old or new we need u! also I would looovve to see ur fanzines bc its a dying art and we need them now more than ever, we need riot grrrl now more than ever here u can talk abt anything like music zines or just anything that is pissing u off in the world rn, make friends share art, talk about music, please keep this thread active if u want or if u can if ur, not a riot grrrl but u just want to respectively observe that's totally fine too! we need to keep the revolution going and we need to be better than the riot grrrls of the past by being more inclusive of everyone. @Kandit33thm0nster: im so sorry that all of this has happend to u! it makes me so angry u should never have to feel that way about things you cannot control. im glad that u felt safe enough to share your story please feel free to share any poc riotgrrrls and ghouls so we can shine some light on them. i deffenatly want to make a fanzeine about being inclusive and about how riot grrrl is for minorities just as much as anyone else.

fellow riotgrrrl here !!! i’ve been into this for 2 years so i’m decently knowledgeable haha! As a queer woc, i have faced racism within the riotgrrrl and other punk communities which has definitely caused me to shy away from engaging with my local punk/riotgrrrl community unfortunately. i feel more representation of queer/non white riotgrrrls would be very validating in general!

@vampirologist: that is so cool! 3 years wow! I've been into riot grrrl for about a year so I'm still pretty new at it but I love it so much I feel like it gives me purpose and it just makes me very happy! if u have any stories or tips I'm sure that they would be greatly appreciated!
