When did you start making kandi ? What was the first piece you made?

I started about three months ago and the first thing i made was a single with the trans pride colors and a heart bead in the middle I sadly can't wear it tho because It's made poorly and I don't want it to break.

I started making kandi about a year ago. My dad and I bonded over house, trance, and drum and bass style EDM. I got into the rave community a bit and i wanted to start making kandi! my first piece was a tiny bracelet that said "edm". later, i found out that not just the rave community wears kandi

I started making kandi in January 2007, just before my first rave. My first pieces were just single-stranded bracelets and basic necklaces. I designed the kandi to match the outfit I wore to my first rave. I didn’t start making cuffs until 2008 when I started dating a kandi kid guy.

i started at the beginning of 2021 (like jan 4th) !!

and my first piece was a green n yellow single that says "cryptid" n it has two smaller blue beads where the ends connect!!

i started at like the end of september 2020 but got beads the next day so i technically started in october but the first piece i made said bunni and had pink beads since at that time i went by that name but i no longer have it since i no longer go by that name

I started about 3 months ago as well! My first piece wasn't even a single, but a badly made, loose 3d cuff in blue, hot pink and white... I hadn't even closed off one of the ends of the x base

I started making kandi... fiiiive months ago? but i used to only make it when my friend (who has been doing it much longer) was around. I would use her beads. But now that I have my own beads, I do kandi a lot more. The first piece I made was a green single alternating between light green, dark green, translucent green, and metallic green, with the word "grass" in the middle lol
