please, dont gatekeep, but yeah, maybe explain a little more about what scene is to them!! i mean honestly 100 gecs has old scenecore vibes, hh. i understand music can be a BIG part of scene culture! but things like music evolve with us!!

eh i wouldn't gatekeep. I personally consider any hyperpop artist to be scene type music as if gives off scene vibes. But I do agree that Jazmine Bean isnt scene as thier music does not have the elements to be ''scene music''

please dont gatekeep, if they're new to the scene then they're on the right path to discovering more about the culture and music. remember that hyperpop is veeery simillar to crunkcore which is the "typical scene kid music".

I wasnt trynna gatekeep i agree with all the hyperpop stuff and how there similar.I wasnt trynna gatekeep her its just that no matter how many times ive tried to explain it to her she keeps ignoring me and theyre idea of scene and emo dress is the stereotypical "e-girl"I'e tried t explain multiple times lol

Nov 30, 2020 6:56 am

@cryptic: I've tried to introduce her to the music too but she just insist all ive showed her is wrong.Btw i wasnt trynna say if your scene you can only listen to "scene"music and nothing more.I was trynna say she doesnt now the difference no matter what i say she insist its scene and not hypepop and other genras

I- she sounds like she got into it through tiktok, which isn't a problem but =w= trying to claim that specific style is "scene" is just annoying. Maybe try to explain the difference to her, and introduce her to actual scene stuff.
