cleaning

okay so basically i have a really bad depression room and my anxiety, adhd & autism are keeping me from cleaning it 513b39525823e_crying.gif

right now I'm trying to like race a timer to see how much I can get done but the more n more I spend in my room the more I feel horrible and like engaging in neg behaviors instead of actually cleaning my room because it makes me feel bad.

y'all have any advice? i cant really listen to music or have a friend over or anything like that

im doing that rn, and I put on a movie and try to get a lot if not all of it cleaned by the end. It’s okay if the movie is finished and your not done, you can just put on another and follow the same goal!

u can try to make a daily plan!! like 4 example: day 1: pick up trash and throw it away, day 2: pick up dirty clothes and wash them, day 3: pick up loose stuff and organize it/put it back where it belongs, day 4: wip down desk, shelfs, whatever u have in ur room, day 5: vacuum clean the floor

ofc i dont know how dirty ur room is and u can do it in whatever order u like, but this way u dont have to do everything at once but can still feel satisfied with what u have done : 3

@sagepawzzz: thats totally fine !! you can also split the same task up into 2 or 3 days if that helps : D and take breaks ofc !!!
