I've seen many different opinions on this, and I'd like to know what most people think about it 1.gif

I think it’s decent like yknow those preppy clay bead people? They make a lot of money, and if you advertise (like on yt or tt) you would get sales! I mean people will be like “I can make that at home!!” But if you could get different types of beads like clear beads it couldnwork

If you’re a company mass producing it (which has happened), no. There is no love in that; it’s just beads. If you’re an individual, it’s normally acceptable as long as you’re pricing it fairly and aren’t just trying to rip people off. I sold a few cuffs once to someone who was a raver and wanted to look cool but didn’t know how to make cuffs. They paid me for the supplies and shipping plus a little bit extra as a tip.

It’s not going to have quite the same meaning as kandi which has been traded or gifted, but I don’t see the problem with it. At one point I believe I felt differently, but at one point I also didn’t like non ravers wearing kandi either (and now I think that’s great). I’m allowed to change my mind. Kandi has expanded beyond what it used to be, so the rules need to adapt

Not everyone has access to trade, so absolutely.

i think it's fine as long as you're not just straight up selling singles, i understand selling things like 3-d or rotators because those are more complicated and time consuming. i would compare pricing on similar bracelets others are selling and come up with a price that way but thats just me

I used to sell Kandi, Mostly My singles at school I didn't like or didn't fit.

I have given gifts and trades with kandi too!!

I learned how to do a business out of it (I stopped because my commissions got too stressful) I think it's ok!!! But if it's mass-produced, I dislike it. There's no care, thought, or love in that. But in kandi, Selling it online like Etsy or something with rotating cuffs and a pack of singles and necklaces, you KNOW those people put time and care. (the ones I see at least)

So, I think it depends! and if your planning on selling some kandi ill be glad to give tips or help! blue

@Glitchy_XDD: I totally agree with this!! If it's handmade on etsy or a small business then its likely to not be mass produced. But with sites like aliexpress and Amazon, they take the love out of plur culture completely!!

id say it’s okay:]

i’ve seen people sell singles for 20 dollars which, in my opinion isn’t okay (in my country 20 dollars is worth kind of a lot, so that’d be wayy too much for a single, where i live)

i’ve sold some kandi, mostly to relatives who wanted to pay me for my time (very nice of them) but also to people at my school. if someone said that they would pay me then we’d talk about a reasonable price and talk about how much time and beads it would take. i don’t know if you’ve ever sold before but if you haven’t then it’s good to remember that the beads/string you bought to make stuff cost money and it took time to make it so you should be paid fairly.

but ye, as long as it’s a reasonable price and you don’t just mass produce, then it’s fine! (in my opinion)

i think its ok, as long as u dont overprice things (like...30 bucks for a single is wayyy to much, but thats pretty reasonable for a 3d cuff in my opinion-)

yeah? Why wouldn’t it be
