i draw in other peoples styles first, and then kind of add my own little thingies to it to make it my own. for example, i took the very base of my art style from some art tutorial i saw on instagram like two years ago, but now i do different things with the hair and have changed how i draw the lower half of the body just to fit what works best for me.

idk if this even helps, but i can show you some pics of how i draw if that would help!! :]

Andrew Loomis:Fun with a Pencil. if you google it the 1st drive link you see should work. teaches basics and how to build out drawings with basic shapes.

i sold my soul to be able to draw/j

but /srs i had a friend teach me the basics and then watched lots of vids on youtube n kinda copied artstyles from my favorite shows to learn more about stylization and eventually wound up with my very own art style kao yes i also drew every day and just practiced the little stuff like drawing lines and basic shapes well

i draw an upside down egg and then give it circles with shapes inside them for eyes and i do a little normal smile but erase the middle of it. theats like the easiest way to explain how i draw faces but i don't think it'll help at all

i watched a lot of art tutorials when i was little. my art looked... typical for a 12 yr old who likes anime, for a long time. but i just kept drawing, and i picked up on different things from a bunch of different artists (lavendertowne and echo gillette really influenced me!!) and i got. decent-ish. there's not really *a way* to learn how to draw. you don't have to draw every day or follow any specific tutorials, but do learn from other artists, and do draw. and keep ur old art so you can see how much you're improving cuz even if you don't think you're improving, with every drawing you're learning. even if it's a terrible drawing! it's a process.

start off with basic shapes; and just practice

I think the best way to start out is to watch speedpaints on artists you like and see how they draw and try to copy them, then try to form your own art style from that :3 thats how i learned

it’s so weird you just have to draw, like just do it no matter how bad it looks just draw whatever you want. don’t copy don’t nothing just draw, that’s what i did
