whats something weird yet strangely cool about the area/place where you live

i had this idea while walking to the bus stop this morning

the thing thats weird but somewhat cool about my area is i live about 2 blocks away from my cities juvenile detention center (which is really funny cuz ive almost gone there once or twice XD)

my grandma's high school was used as a set for a 1940s movie .. im sure theres a lot more facts considering im in a rlly big city but i cant think of anything rn

@captaincutlersghost: i'm in sydney and i've just grown to love the hellish possum screams. first time i heard one i thought it was an old man breathing outside... i was terrified
