whats something weird yet strangely cool about the area/place where you live

i had this idea while walking to the bus stop this morning

the thing thats weird but somewhat cool about my area is i live about 2 blocks away from my cities juvenile detention center (which is really funny cuz ive almost gone there once or twice XD)

the old town i live in is what we call old [insert my towns name]. its a rly small town in md and the old town was vanished underneath water when a dam was built in the river separating my county and the next county
