Have you ever taken apart something you've made?

Mostly reffering to big things. I made my first kandikini a while ago; it's posted on my profile. I put a lot of work into it, as it's not just a normal kandikini. well i have a picture in my head for a cooler one that i would love more, but i don't have enough beads, so i was gonna take apart my first one. i have plenty of string, and i'll have enough beads if i do take it apart. but will i feel guilty? have you ever taken apart something cool you made to make it cooler?

I've only ever taken apart singles and things of lesser importance. I think the only reason I'd take apart a bigger creation of mine is to remake it. I tend not to get into bigger projects if I'm not going going to keep them long.
