Have you ever taken apart something you've made?

Mostly reffering to big things. I made my first kandikini a while ago; it's posted on my profile. I put a lot of work into it, as it's not just a normal kandikini. well i have a picture in my head for a cooler one that i would love more, but i don't have enough beads, so i was gonna take apart my first one. i have plenty of string, and i'll have enough beads if i do take it apart. but will i feel guilty? have you ever taken apart something cool you made to make it cooler?

The space needle is a landmark in Seattle, Washington. This is what it looks like in real life: http://www.thelostogle.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/spaceneedleseattle.jpg and then this is how my version of it looked before I took it apart

since it was embroidery string rather than stretchy stuff it kinda slumped over after a while so I decided to take it apart. I still want to make a skirt, but my butt is huge XD so its gonna take a lot of beads and a ridiculous flare in the back

I did the exact same thing. My first kandikini wasn't beaded tight enough and was the wrong dimensions. I make cuffs when I'm bored, then get ideas for cooler ones and take the old ones apart ALL THE TIME for string and beads. Usually well worth it in the end (:

Yeah. To make my Jeffree Star cuff with the pink I ran out of, I took apart my gloomy bear cuff. But I needed to redo it anyway :3

I have taken apart around 4-7 complete bikini's and have taken apart SEVERAL bracelets (like 50 or more) I'm thinking of taking apart some big epics I was in the process of making but got bored with. I have had to re-do 3 different visors at least 10 times before I felt they were good enough. I have made 3 beanies and taken those apart before I made my 4th one which I actually liked, uhm I have started to make several shirts that I never finished so I am thinking of taking those apart too lol If it doesnt work I take it apart and try something else, or if I dont feel like finishing it anymore I take it apart and make something else lol

That makes me feel a lot better about killing my kandikini. I'm already half done with my skirt big grin
