i wanna make some crust pants (cuz why not) but my brain isnt working for s h e t so idk what to put on them

any ideas??

lots of studs, political patches, kandi, embroidery, extra pockets, band patches, belts, can tabs, lighter hoods, random slogans, keychains, hardware chains, sew patches on with dental floss, and add queer or anarchist syblols

remember that if you have the resources and ability to wash your pants you should! no aestheticizing poverty here!

im workin on a pair rn!! lol

crust pants specifically should always jus have a layer of plain squares of fabric, usually in black but for the super crusty punx, black, grey, browns, greens, old dirty kind colors lol (jus so cuz they cant b washed, not hand washed rly depending on the paint u use, ive seen crusties b absolutely destroyed cuz of soap n water )

then add on patches on top of that layer then!! different things like bands n activism n punk symbols (anarchy, three arrows, squatter, etc) usually, but punk is all abt jus doin whatever tf u want!! so i like bein funky w it n doin trippy psychedelic type shit or doing like forest kinda goblin shit, its rly jus all up to u!!

also other things other than patches!! chains ofc r a must, u can find em at home depot to get whatever size u want,, soda tabs, the metal pieces on top of lighters (i jus ask smokers for their empty BIC ones or i find em on the ground) can b used as studs, safety pins ofc, studs (u can find online for cheap or at walmart) but if u cant access studs usin those flat thumbtacks n jus hot gluin em after pokin em through or makin studs out of soda cans is an option, ive seen sum ppl add bottlecap pins too???? like on the pants??? idk how to feel abt that cuz i like em on my jacket but again, its abt doin whatever tf u want, whatever floats ur boat, kid

tumblr n pinterest r great places to look for inspo too (jus b warned if u decide to use tumblr for ideas,,, half the punk related tags r jus filled w nsfw lol)
