What are y’all’s school theaters doin?

My school always has a musical in the spring, and this year it’s Annie! My audition went well and I got a callback for Bert Healy (he’s a radio announcer) and its my first callback so I’m really nervous lol.

So! What are your schools doing for theater? Idk if other schools usually do theater in the spring but yeah

i was just in my schools fall play called game of tiaras, and we just started rehearsals for our musical which is legally blonde. i auditioned but did so terribly (I obviously was not cast lol) so I applied for stage crew... still haven't gotten an email back :') break a leg at your callback!!!

rn we’re working on eurydice and I’m so excited to paint that!! and then at the end of the year we’re doing chicago!!

uhhh idk the spring play, but the winter one was matilda!! i dont have any plans to really be apart of the school theater bc im not talented when it comes to singing, im a pretty good actor, but i cant sing for the life of me and all my schools plays are musicals so , im also not good at like, arts and crafts so i dont know how good i'd be at making props. one of my friends is really good at singing and always gets lead roles so thats cool!!

my school has 2 drama classes(one during school and one for extracurricular) and the one after school is doing beauty and the beast. my graded drama class is just doing a showcase kinda thing, its kinda boring but i get to do mics so thats fun

i’m so excited we found out like two weeks ago that we won ceta (california educational theatre association has a competition where they judge a buncha schools) with our production of the wizard of oz ( not the musical) so that’s super great, we actually broke a record, first school to win ceta 4 times ever!!!! i’m so happy… and we’re starting with moana when we go back to school
