I used to not know how to measure the size of my wrist so all my singles had this ugly gap in the back where there were just no beads cos they were too small. Same thing with peyotes, all the beads would be really spread out in the back and it would look so bad omg. Thank Bingus I figured out how many beads around my wrist was so I don't run into that problem anymore lol

Before I learned how to make a multistitch cuff, I thought a peyote stitch was the only way to make a cuff so I tried using a multistitch pattern on here using a peyote stitch lmao Then I took a look at Crumpet's cuff tutorial and was like "ahh... that makes much more sense now"

the first time i read a multistitch pattern i didnt realize that u would have to do the thing where u skip a few beads on the next row that way the image lined up so i was so mad that my old monokuma cuff was looking like a amukonom cuff scared

(TW for cuts) when I made multi stitch cuffs I didn’t know how to make them so They had a tight line of string in the back and it would cut into my skin and it hurt

i would use that shitty clear glittery slippery string from hobby lobby so none of the cuffs i made were the right size or were tight lmao

I used to think you had to pull the string as tight as possible when making cuffs and could not understand how people fit em over their hands laugh

my sister (she/they) started making kandi before me, around 2012, I would often watch her make it and sometimes she would let me make some with her. i would use like 10 beads and then tie the string together without more beads, of course it wouldn't fit around my wrist with 10 beads so the bracelet was for string then beads and it was so bad but i was like 8 so im giving myself the befit of the doubt.

off topic: i really bonded with my sister over those times and i hold those memories close to my heart, I fucking love them to bits and the raised me really well despite being 15
