personailly, i dont think its cute and I don't like it

The idea of making vent art like that is fine on its own, but calling it an "aesthetic" and categorizing it with other "cores" like cottagecore and weirdcore is just... gross. People shouldn't be taking their vent art and calling it aesthetic, and people definitely shouldn't be making fake vent art specifically for the "aesthetic".

Like it's fine to make vent art but flaunting it and calling it an aesthetic is mad disrespectful tbh. I dont think it's cool or "aesthetic" or any way shape or form sad

Also I hate how somtimes its categorized with weirdcore and dreamcore

um, i don't have much against it to be honest. i don't think it's really an aesthetic, more so just a tag that allows for vent art to be made and shared more easily? like they could've called it something else, but them having a specific name for it helps keep vent art and stuff like that out of my feed. it's gross when people who haven't experienced trauma are trying to participate in it though, and it has some really dangerous aspects.

i think it’s a good thing if you’re (privately) venting and dont really know how to put it into words! i don’t understand the part where people r publicly doing it tho…
