how is it so hard to stop supporting problematic people?? just stop watching their content?? like ffs yall give any excuse to support people who have done shitty things.

also u act generalize your other comment and act like this is abt the dsmp, no, I couldn't give a shit about them, idc. you act like i support the creator I'm referring to, I dont. ofc i dont support their actions and I stopped, it took to me so long but i stopped watching their content. So I dont wanna support them but again, no family, I had no friends because I was the weird kid to everyone, no support, noone, literally nothing other than these people that I idolized because i had no one, so ofc I'm not gonna go through shunning someone who was such a big part of my life for so not in a split second.

yeah! but also like. ion wanna suport mihoyo but their games r super fun and i love genshin a lot. which is sort of a problem bt im not spendinf money on em so idk

@bloodbag: youtube, spotify, hell even twitch gives a miniscule amount of money per view. most of their revenue is from merch/subs for twitch, one view matters so little that at that point you might as well just watch

also just because u can detatch urself from a cc doesnt mean others with mental health issues cant and out of all people u should know this

@NU11: while I understand mental health being a cause to not be able to let go of problematic people, it isn’t an excuse. You can stop supporting someone over time, or at least stop openly doing it.

And while views give little money alone, they pile up.

@ILoveBagels707: exactly, because sometimes its not easy to just let go of someone that you may be so very close to that you formed a bond with whether the other person realizes it or not right off the bat, but over time it is possible. I tried to justify watching a problematic creator for a while because they were like a parent to me because I didn't have anyone, but eventually I accepted that I shouldn't be supporting them
