i mean this in the nicest way possible, but i'm sick of 13 year olds on this website treating it like a diary or a social media. forums are not the same as social media, this is a KANDI website, not a place to vent about genuinely heavy topics (they literally have a banner saying this before you post a thread) or kin or whatever.

i know there are edge cases of people not being allowed real social media, but this is meant to be a lighthearted site to talk about a specific common interest, not how much you hate your parents or how you want a new partner.

I agree, I understand having difficulties but venting on a site that is about Kandi and having fun with other people with similar interests is just in my opinion a little innappropriate. It would be better if they vented privately, talk to someone they trust, or talk to a trusted adult as most of the people on here are minors.

I agree, it's not appropriate and it always shocks me some of these kids are willing to post something so private for the whole world to see. Venting is important but don't do it to the general public. and many of them don't even say its a vent so there's no consent when people unknowingly click and a kids heavy trauma is thrown in their face. I don't want to shame anyone for going through what they do, but at the same time,,, have some restraint and only discuss stuff like that in private messaging.

yea, i hate when people are just like,, venting. like this is not the site for that at all. im just trying to make cool kandi and maybe make a friend, not read about how school sucks for you aha..

@WATERPARKS: i agree on the heavy topic stuff, but i do find people are normally alright with following the current rules. but you are absolutely complaining about random stuff like "kin or whatever" and "how you want a new partner". while it might be annoying for people to have to scroll through its literally harmless and i dont know why that should be lumped in with the genuine problem that is minors sharing sensitive information online.

i think there might be a discrepancy between users on the site with regards to some mental illness discussions. like there are threads of systems wanting to talk to other systems about DID stuff, and i dont view this as a "heavy topic" while other people might.

I usually answer those threads to get to know them as like, friends, because people who male threads like "I need a partner" often are lonely so i try to know them and dm them as a friend you know? *goop* - charlie slimecicle

i agree I dont mind those types of posts but they always post it in the kandi section of the forum? Also many people on this app are minors. We shouldnt be asking for partners on here when the new kandi community is around 12-14.

I agree! I mean, I'm fine with people talking about fandoms or making a post about a great day at school or somethin but venting? Oversharing? Asking for NEW PARTNERS, WOAH THERE, NELLY-

I'm guilty of this but I think people shouldn't post non-kandi related stuff in the general kandi talk section. "Other discussions" is where I believe fandoms and er- "Kins" if that's what's poppin with the kids nowadays, lol? Should be- But like, other discussion or not, this isn't Tinder and this isn't NSPL- Plz don't vent here-

its scary to see people looking for partners here! I just use this to make and help myself make kandi and find others who are in a specific fandom so i can make more kandis of the fandom's characters.
