Opinion on people who are too young to get into raves wearing kandi?

All the events near me are 21+ so I'm too young to get into them but I make and wear kandi a lot. Just curious of your opinions. c:

Kandi isnt just for raves... Its to bring people together... And frankly if a child is making them then good considering pony beads and perler beads are made specifically for kids. We just adopted it as our own. Whenever i see a little kid i pull a piece off my arm and give it to them in hopes one day they'll know what it is and do the same. Age doesnt matter.

I think if you enjoy making Kandi and respect and live by P.L.U.R it doesnt matter if you rave or not. I'm too young to rave too. So youre not alone happy

I feel you CAN be a kandi kid wether you rave or not. There are SO MANY kandi kids who CAN'T rave (Not old enough, None around them, Parents wont let them, etc...) And it's not fare because of this. My opinion is you're a kandi kid, or a raver. happy

Yeah, kinda like what Necromanced said. It shouldn't matter your age, because you may be legally 17, but act 25, you know? As long as you follow plur, and don't act like a... I guess a brat? Usually though you can go to raves at Anime Conventions, those should be all ages :3

You'll get a lot of mixed opinions on this, but I believe people who don't rave can make kandi (or beaded creations, whatever floats your boat) to their liking, as long as they understand what kandi and the rave culture is. I know of people around my town who make kandi, but they think the rave culture is stupid and pointless. So I don't see their pieces as kandi, but as beaded jewelry instead. Bottom line is you're cool with me for making kandi, whether you are able to rave or not. It's nobody else's business to tell you what to call your kandi, or yourself just because you don't/can't rave yet. c:

It's not kandi till it's been to raves, is what I was told before, and so it's called bead jewelry, I would say you just have to wait, or get friends that bead make also and make a rave at ur house...
