band/orchestra people!!

i have my first symphony orchestra class with the winds later today, and im so so excited!! we’re playing farandole by georges bizet and danzón no. 2 by arturo márquez!! im super proud of myself because i got first chair second violin this year!!

if there are other band/orchestra people who want to share, what are y’all playing??

i used to be in band and play trumpet, i actually still have it since it was fully paid off by the place that gave me it, but it is in abysmal condition, tho I still loved playing it. but I still loved memories of playing the trumpet and there was something extremely weirdly soothing of like, after a band concert and my lips would be sore because of how much I had to buzz em X.x
