I love cbmc / cyberbully mom club! I know it's not like super unknown but I've only ever met one other person who knows it sooooo

(btw go listen to peach to a peach by cbmc its my favorite)

magic dirt!! they were this australian indie/kinda grungy rock band from the 90s to mid/late 00s and they’re so good, my fave album from them is “what are rockstars doing today?”

they weren’t super underground or anything but like they’re a bit obscure lol

:33 < i rlly like pisse (weird name ik) they got popular for "Fahrradsattel" but their other songs get like no attention and imo theyre really good and underrated. i also kinda like pearl jam and radiohead (ik radiohead isnt super unknown but i feel like a lot of their songs dont get as much attention as some others like "no surprises")

BEARS IN TREES i love bears in trees theyre a silly little band with some silly little music AND THEY STARTED THEIR NEW ERA TODAY ITS SO GREAT AND EPIC theyre also my spIn of 3 years so pretty epic if i do say so myself

first of all cyberbully mom club is high key one of my favorite bands, their music has always been incredibly comforting for me!! it's so cool to have found someone who likes them ahhh!! my favorite song is i oughta go, but i also really like fight night champion!!

I was also gonna talk about bears in trees but someone else already did as well!! definitely listen to bears in trees if you haven't, their music literally sounds like how drinking hot chocolate feels. <3

so i guess the band i'll cover is sparky deathcap! sparky deathcap grew a tad in popularity after wilbur soot started using his song september (from the ep teary jerky) as an pre-stream introduction, and don't get me wrong, it's an AMAZING song, but sparky deathcap's music is soooo much more than that ep! that ep was actually unfinished/rushed according to his bandcamp! he wanted to put out what he had already made and revisit it later, but he never did. from teary jerky, my personal favorites are "winter city ghost" (some of the lyrics to that song are in my bio because ahhhh i love this band!!) and "send it to oslo"!

his other album is "let's build a fire," released in 2009. I know significantly less about this album because there is a lot less public information about it, but it's just,,,,,,, so good??!?! i adore this album, it's been one of my most listened to on spotify, just this is THE sparky deathcap album. it's feels a lot more polished than the ep, and the elements of folk and indie rock really shine through in it. my personal favorite song from it is "beaches of brighton" or "birdbrain."
