Does anyone have pet rat tips? (or good names for 2 rats!!)

Ok, I know this isn't about kandi buttt-

My parents recently said I could get pet rats and i've been doing tons of research to see if they are really something I could handle. Does anyone have any info on good cages, toys, food, or just generally good tips?

Any good name ideas will also be appreciated!! (I want to get two male rats, but all names are cool) 514c97d8443ea_twirlingheart.gif

ive got a playlist left from when i was researching for my rats, they could be helpful! the other rat care videos on the channels would also be helpful; https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLboPwXhrVbbWd4g... /safe

the only tips ive got off the top of my head are to not use normal food bowl, get some sort of other feeder, its better than just a bowl. also, get a handful of hammocks and stuff, they love hiding out in there!

i don't know anything about rats, but i always thought that if i had rats, i would name one of them "richy lucille," after junie b. jones' friend, and maybe name the other "grandpa frank miller," after junie b. jones' grandfather
