why are people against xenogenders?

i've seen a few people really hating on xenogenders, and i don't really understand why? i know that there are some xenogenders that aren't valid like dreamgender (based on minecraft youtuber) and stuff like that, but i don't really understand why so many people hate on them.


thoughts?

@Moon9: For examples i use xenogenders bc I can't really comprehend gender if that makes sense (people have told me it's probably bc of autism). So instead I've built my identity as things that have been big in my life and having them be "gender" makes the most sense

@jUggal0_pUppY: I struggle alot with xenogenders bc it's hard sometimes for me to figure out how to use them, not bc I hate xenogenders or anything it's just a lil bit hard for me to understand so I usually will ask the person for an example on how their pronouns should be used and that usually helps alot

I've seen people take em as you literally identify as the thing your gender represents (like alicorngender would make me literally want to be a my little pony lol). Also people have said they started out as a way to mock LGBTQ, although idk if it is true or not it has most definitely morphed into something helpful.

It someone is just confused about them that is completly fine they are very new but just blindly hating people shows more badly on you than someone just trying out pronouns.

Good thing is things like being non binary are being more acceptable to talk about so hopefully in the future things like this can be discussed as well. hkheart

i get how some ppl are confused by them but people who hate nuerogenders are the densest people on earth
