Hey! Been into kandi for a while but I've never actually made it myself. I wanted to make a kandi mask (pony beads, peyote stitch, yknow) but I just cant get the beads to fit into place despite the fact I'm doing the pattern right...? Could it be the string...? If it could be the string, what string should I be using? Am I just really bad at this...? Any help would be appreciated <3

are you pulling the string tight as you go along? i don't recommend the crystal tech string, it's hard to tie off unless you use nail polish or glue

use the kind of glossy string that looks like floss, it works way better. if you can't get any, dollar tree has stretchy string, it works well too

@mellohirust: it should not break but remember to tripple knot ur string or it will explode when tugged *has war flashbacks to me picking up millions of beads*

@CoNN13Killz: Ah, thank you! Any advice on doing that better? I just have to tug the string? Or could that make it break?

you have to kinda pop the bead in the spot and then tighten the string
