amount of string for peyote vs ladder??

pretty much what the title says!! i was wondering if anyone knows which generally takes less string, a peyote cuff or a ladder cuff (or if it's about the same haha). i have some ideas that could be done with either stitch, im just not sure which one is the most string-efficient.

ladder usually takes more string due to the crossing over etc etc

Peyote usually takes a lot of string but still

It’s kinda a lose lose situation but, fortunately, string is cheap

i would think peyotes take more string, especially if you're doing an odd-numbered peyote. depending on how many beads you're putting on a ladder stitch cuff, it would probably take less string, since you're just looping it around the beads. :]

(measurements are approximate) ladder takes five times around the wrist and pyote takes 4
