hi so if anyone can help me identify what this is it would mean a lot to me ( not a diagnosis or anything just ideas of what it could be)

so recently ive been having more 1-5 second moments where i cant breathe and i am like gulping for air, it usually happens when im laying down, or at school. Its been happening for around a year or so. Also I used to have problems with sleeping where i would fall asleep and then a little bit after i would wake up not being able to breathe and having to gasp for air, usually to solve that problem i would have to lay on a specific side and breathe with my mouth open, it even got so bad that i had to lay on the couch out in the living room where my mom sleeps (not on the couch, we have a super small apartment and back when i sometimes had to go out there she slept on a small mattress) and watch tv to distract myself even though it still wouldnt always work 2.gif. Also i cant really go to a doctor about it atm since my mom says its normal and that i have nothing to worry about (like she says about everything).

honestly id go on reddit or somethin bcuz a bunch of gay teenagers on a bracelet making website might not be the best people 2 go 2 for health concerns

it might be dyspnea or "chronic obstructive pulmanory disease" which are both things i got from google idk a lot abt them but you can look into them if you want

hopefully it goes away soon though!! that all sounds kinda awful :[
