any1 have ny tips? Im starting with basic knowlage and i wanna know ur experiences or some tips on how to not fall LOL

@dragonsparkles: the way my dad did it (he's been skating for over 20 year's) he just pushed me forward n the foot I stepped with first was the foot, or u could just try n figure out which foot is ur dominant foot

I wanna learn how ta skate so baddddd but my tip is to make sure ur using ur correct dominant foot my friend was trying to teach me but she taught me using the same footing as her and I ate shit bc I actually should beet skating with the opposite foot lol and don't be afraid to fall, n always wear protective gear no matter what anyone says

dont go down steep hills scared i learned that the hard way *sobs in concussion*

for context i was using my friends skateboard, also had ZERO protective gear cuz wow look at me being a no-brained show off, anyways his neighborhood has a lotta hills n we were on our way to the cemetery n it was a rly steep drop so we thought it would be a good idea to SIT on the board TOGETHER n go down it, i was in front tho so i ended up taking the fall when we flew off the board n i ended up bashing my head into the cemetery fence meanwhile he only crashed into my back which just hurt me even more lol, at least he was ok i wouldve been more upset if he got hurt, i was like, bleeding all over him tho lmaoo

i’m also a beginner so i’m not the best but one thing i’ve learned is don’t lean back or forward too much or u will fall.

try to stay centered on the board and if u feel unstable, hold out your arms and have a titanic moment to keep urself from falling, use ur inner core snd tighten ur stomach muscles like ur a ballerina and ur walking on a balance beam and ur trying not to fall.

if u do fall, don’t let that stop u. don’t be afraid to fall!

try to do it near something soft like grass so if u do fall it won’t hurt that bad

always make sure u have ur protective gear on too ! !
