hey guys 13.gif

so the first bead box I got was from amazon, from a brand called vicovi. it came with good beads and it was a good place to start but theres an entire row of beads that just... smell...513b395270f8e_nah.gifwhich is really a shame, seeing as the beads are very pretty and iridescent but they wreak of plastic. I used a whole rainbow of these beads to make a single and after wearing it for some time, the smell just went away. i want to know if theres some sort of fix or if i can make them smell better. have you guys had a similar problem?513b3952851d7_shrug.gif

air them out for a day or two if they still smell! then after you can spray something that smells good on them like perfume or febreez

had a similar experience. i bought white beads because i was low on them, and they REEKED of super glue D: i i bitched about it on snapchat, used them anyways, and after a little while my kandi smelt fine. try leaving it outside or by an open window overnight and they should be fine. if you can, i suggest dumping them out in a shallow pan (if its only one color) to air them or you could do what i did and suck it up and let it air out when you wear it lma

it's plastic, they're almost always gonna do that

maybe if u have febreeze or like some sort of spray that smells good that u like u can spray it not like not enough to ruin the beads

Certain kinds of plastic covered in that iridescent stuff smells sulfury. It's normal, It's just the iridescent coating i think. kao big grin
