OK I TRIED DYING MY ALL OF MY HAIR MIDNIGHT RUBY (SPLAT sponsor me 4.gif) AND I WAS WASHING OUT THE EXSESS DYE AND NOW ONLY MY ROOTS AND SCALP ARE RED PLS HELP-

@Finnthefish: i thinks its cuz i used warm/hot-ish water instead of cold water to wash it out....i can't stand cold water it hurts like hell :']

If your hair was medium tone color or darker it probably wouldnt work because colors like that need a blank canvas to work on. If you hair was blond already i dont see why it wouldnt have worked- i see you left it in for the right ammount of time so if you followed the instructions and your hair was atleast blond idk why it did that.

@jUggal0_pUppY: i didn't use bleach because my hair is pretty light and i left it on for a little under an hour (it said 45 minutes to an hour). i used like a fourth of the bottle (it came in this weird bottle) this was my first time doing it myself. :')

How much was your hair bleached/lightened, how long did you leave it on, and how much did you use?

All of those are factors into hair dyeing hkheart
