pattern spammers.. a rant..ish?

idk if im the only one but i rlly hate it when people spam the pending patterns page with a bunch of slightly different patterns

lieek i get having a buncha different patterns u wanna share, but i feel bad for all the patterns posted before the spam :/ they all get flooded out
and honestly i think its just unreasonable

i feel like it happens too often.. plzz tell me im not the only one

(no hate to the patterns tho!! i think theyre rlly cool i just dont like the spam

A feature to combine similar patterns has already been suggested and is on my todo list. The catch is that the site and I aren’t smart enough to do it automatically. The patterns would have to be manually grouped, either by pattern creators or moderators.

To be fair, if I had endless time to devote to the site, I think I *could* learn to group them automatically. But I don’t so I can’t, not anytime soon anyway.

@kipippy: Like when a pattern gets published, there should be a list or something on the side where the different colors should beimo

It's mostly pride patterns. I love that pattern makers try to include everyone they can, I just wish there was a better way to do it lol
