I've heard of several kandi kids going into Hot Topic and staying in there to give kandi away to the customers and even some of the cashiers, to show them the meaning behind it. That seems like a pretty nice way to let it be known. I don't shop there anymore hardly, they barely have anything I like, and if they do it's usually overpriced.

I mean it doesn't bother me so much as to boycott HT (even though i don't like the store that much). Do they actually sell the bracelets as 'kandi'? Because if they don't, I don't see any problem. It could just be random beaded bracelets. But if they do specifically call it kandi, then I could see why people are getting mad. Otherwise, I'd just ignore it. It's all overpriced anyways. You could probly make about 20 singles (or more) for the price of three of theirs.

Meh. If it were me, I'd just ignore the bracelets, itself. If that's what they want to do, let them. Don't hate them or hate on it. Keep the PLUR. Yeah, it may not be right, but the kandi you have gotten/gave means more that those ever will and that's how it should be and what truly matters in the end.

i love the store a lot, so boycotting it is rough.. but i walked in there before a rave this weekend with all my kandi on and they asked if i was going to buy their cuff to add to my "collection".. i just simply said "no. kandi should NOT be sold in stores. it makes me sick thinking that this place even sells them as cuffs. i can see, maybe, selling a pack of beads.. but thats really pushing it.. first the singles, now this? *~holds up cuff~* why can't they take a hint from the EDM community from the singles?" they simply replied "talk to the company. leave a message. if enough people complain, they may listen to you. the EDM community really made the store what it is today. without you guys, this store would've gone down. i'm sure they'll listen." we should all take a few minutes and write the company.. complain about the cuffs and such. i'm sure they'll listen this time. they listened before, and they will probably listen again.

Yeah, I'm not even gonna look at their bracelets. I walked in there with my kandi, and the cashier asked me if I would like to buy one of their cuffs. I just laughed and said, "Mine has meaning." (:

I dont see how this is a problem at all, it doesnt have to come to that. Its not a big deal just walk past the bracelets and buy what you need, if you like the store
