I turn 14 today-

Also I’m going into high school this upcoming year, any advice on anything

im also 14 rn and going to highschool but just know your not alone in being nervous im also SUPER nervous in starting! good luck!! <3

Do your best to vibe with the stuff that makes you feel confident and strong. Don't force yourself to like something or present a certain way if it isn't what makes your heart flutter when you think about it, or if it doesn't cause a sense of determination to light up within you. Find it. Stick with it. Be yourself, and nothing less.

high school isn't like how it's portrayed in movies/tv. find a group of people you genuinely like being around and stick with them

happy belated birthday! in my experience, high school was better than middle school. people are generally more mature which is good. im heading into my senior year of highschool, and from what i can tell u, my best advice would be to avoid drama, avoid people who r problematic or known to cause drama, and make new friends who share common interests with u! of course u dont have to share everything in common with ur friends (i certainly dont) because differences do make things interesting as well! also try to connect with ur teachers and ask for help if u need it, don't suffer in silence lol. ask questions and learn from ur mistakes because u learn more that way!! hope this helpedrainbowsmile

Try your best (especially in your later high school years if you want to go to college), but take care of yourself too. I can’t imagine being in high school now that everyone is on social media. There are so many more opportunities for bullying kao sad
