i'm trying to make a choker like this but i'm not sure how to attach the charm/pendant, i want to use a perler instead of a pony bead star so that might change how? i haven't added the pony bead chains yet so if i need to do that before adding the pendant let me know ^_^

EDIT: i finished it and you can look here! i'm super proud of it

@Quartz: You could attach a perler the same way if you put the string through two holes

I'd imagine something like this, maybe?

Edit: I did not realize this thread was a few days old cause it was showing on top for me for some reason so you probably already found a solution by now—

i dont know how to attach a perler like that but i (think??) figured out the pony bead star. you make the star, put the string through the tip, add a bead on one end and put the string through the other like a ladder and put the two ends through the beads on the choker and tie it
