diyyyy If you have old clothes that fit but they aren't really your style, 100% try diy - ing them

Thrift stores are also great, and you can diy stuff from them

If you want to support small businesses, go on etsy, I've found some cool stuff there

Amazon is ok as long as you're careful. Make sure everything you get is prime, and look at the reviews. Killstar is more goth, but they're cool. Hottopic is kind of expensive, but cool. I hate this but, for chokers and some other accessories...Justice...yeah. That is, if you can bring yourself to even go in the store. I sure can't.

Thrift stores! Just avoid Salvation Army and Goodwill because Salvation army is transphobic and Goodwill underpays disabled workers. Then DIY your clothes to get them the style you want.

any thrift store is good, if you want punk shit though most people make it or collect a few peaces from random stores. There might be a goth clothing store around where you live with stuff that might work but there aren't many online stores I know of that have good stuff

so first off, diy stuff! some spare fabric, a pack of safety pins, and some acrylic paint can take you a long way. thrifting is great too, but i recognize that that’s not accessible for everyone ^.^ if ur talking abt stores only, tunnel vision, depop, rockabilia, hot topic and etsy all have some great selections!

also don’t be a afraid to ask around, i’ve found that a lot of people have un-used or incorrectly sized clothing they just never wear thats punk or alternative so check that out too tongue

good luck, i hope this helps!

punk fashion is almost exclusively DIY, so thrifting clothes/customizing old clothes is pretty much the way to go if you want to get into punk fashion!
