ADHD testing

I want to ask my mom about getting tested for ADHD but she kind of doesn't understand mental health and tells me to stop making a big deal out of the problems I "don't have" so I'm scared to but I really need to get tested. I just need advice on how to bring it up or any advice/info on ADHD testing or really anything you think would be helpful.

Tell her its just in case, to calm your nerves or something similar. You could also just ask your doctor about it next visit and tell them you dont think she'd be supportive of testing, they might be able to help you get support and testing. Wishing you luck!
