Selling my kandi - advice

sarasunshine 8/23/2015 09:56 am 1994

I'm a kandi kid and have been for a long time, so I have a pretty big collection of kandi I made.
I found out a few months ago that I'm pregnant, so no summer raves or festivals for me (at least this year), so my kandi is just sitting there. I'm a minimum wage worker, so I've been strapped to get baby stuff for my little one. I figured I could sell the kandi that I made and use that money to buy baby stuff/pay some bills.

The problem is, I know a lot of people have problems with others selling kandi. I'm just wondering, if I do try to sell it, which website would be best for doing that and whether it would be inappropriate to give info on the situation of why I'm selling it off now (instead of hearing a bunch of people whine about it).

*I would only sell the kandi I made, not any kandi I received.

I sell kandi too. I stil give it away and trade it like always, but some i sell, so not judging happy I think it's different when one of us does it than when like hot topic does it, it really makes a difference who it is selling the kandi and whether or not they are genuinely part of the culture or just exploiting it.

Anyways, I suggest Etsy. I use both etsy and ebay, but prefer etsy for sure. Etsy has a "sell on etsy" mobile app that's very useful too, you should d/l it if you go that route.

Also if you're curious my shop's http://theswankyraver.etsy.com, you should send me a pm there if you start using etsy maybe? I'm trying to get more into the etsy community stuff lol

good luck

I posted them to ebay, if anyone is interested in taking a look.

Ebay Listings

@Purple_Kandi_Rainbow: I thought about etsy, but I'm only selling off the stuff I already have made and don't really plan on selling more (beads and babies don't really mix :p.

I was thinking ebay, but I don't know if kandi is well sold on ebay or if it just sits listed and goes unsold. I've got a lot, so I don't want to spend hours taking photos and listing it only to have nothing sell.
