(guys dont be mad at me, this is just my thoughts)

have you ever seen a black therian online? or, at least, a person of color? someone who isnt a white fluffy haired trans boy? i thought not.

Black therians dont gain as much traction as a "pretty" therian would. You need to have the best mask, the best scenery, the best everything. If you arent white, fluffy haired, and skinny, you just arent going to become popular. Just give up at that point.

There IS racism in the therian community.

I've found myself envious of the other popular therians (youtube please add a block button i really dont wanna see these people on my fyp) because i knew i could never grow as much as they could. People always say "oh but being a therian is about the spirituality!!" then post about it.

sorry i live in an apartment? sorry that im not white, sorry that i dont have fluffy, curly hair, sorry that i literally cannot grow at all because people just like to see the pretty therians instead.

I mean, this is understandable and I experience heavy jealousy of the popular creators with perfect gear and areas that I don't have, however just not every therian posts. In fact, the therians that post are only a portion of the community. A ton of therians that don't post also do quads and have regular lives, and aren't just another Eboy. Okie that's all, It may sound funky but this is what my personal thoughts are.

I’ve seen a lot of people of color who are therians actually. But this is a trend throughout the entire Internet. It’s bad but it’s not just going to not happen in one specific group

Totally agree, but I have seen ppl of color make it big, also seen people that weren’t fluffy haired or curly haired or skinny make it big aswel

notgna disagree with what your saying but, I have seen poc/non-white therians, I have seen cis therians as well. i would say I've seen more cis then trans tbh. i agree with part of what your saying, but idk. this js feels like a really weird thing to mention, less of a notice about how the actual therian community is. i don't know when being a therian was turned into cosplay on tt/yt but I really wish it wasn't, being a therian is not about iinternet fame its about beliefs. /nm ofc, I js think this is a bit weird

edit: and this part "You need to have the best mask, the best scenery, the best everything." I feel like this is obvious? artists online have to have an appealing style, good lighting, nice supplies, etc.. if you are posting online and expect to gain traction your stuff, no matter what your posting, has to be nice? this is such an odd thing to bring up in a post abt racism.
