Going to my first convention soon

Any things I should know before I go?

@AlistersKandi: also be aware of your surroundings! cons are super fun but you still have to be alert! have a lot of fun!!

pack light, u gonna be carrying that stuff all day. If ur cosplaying I suggest a small backpack so its not in photos, but if you can make it a part of the cosplay thats great. If ur not cosplaying use a side bag! Is gonna be crowded, especially in the shopping/art area, so having what you need right beside or in front of you is super helpful. If ur sensitive to noise bring headphones or earplugs. Bring wallet and phone of course, water, and maybe a fidget? If you want to get photos, make sure the person isn’t already doing something or is taking a break. If they are buying something or already taking a photo just wait :3 hope this helps!

if you have the feeling someone is following you, go to an area where security is heavy, and maybe take a friend with you to the con but if not most people will back you up if your feeling unsafe and will let you hang with them for the time being
