@Crumpet: Quads is something not exclusive for therians! It's actually in some work out routines lmao

start by practicing somewhere that's soft so u dont hurt urself AND BEND UR ARMS WHEN JUMPING (i learned that the hard way) also start small!!! dont do big jumps if u dont have running down!

curl fingers up and stick thumb out for ur paw when doing quads. when doing any jump brings arms up to chest and pull them out then land with arms bent. when walking try 2 keep ur but low but don’t look like ur climbing up a hill

Its good to buy a pair of gloves(doesn't have to be anything fancy!) So that you don't hurt your hands will do quads. Its also important to stretch before doing quads so that your muscles are more flexible. Its a good idea to walk on soft flat surfaces such as grass. start out with walking slowly then try to go faster once you get used to going slowly. also don't overwork youself and take youre time, eventally youll master it :3

Maybe you could practice lying on your belly, or bending your back in different ways to exercise your hip. It's important for your hip to be flexible, because usually human skeletons are made for upright walking. You can watch videos of walking cats/foxes/wolves to try and copy how they walk. Try not to keep your back too low, because that can give you a back-ache. Start walking small and slow, then walk a bit faster. Eventually you might be able to pounce and run like a real animal!

I would really recommend therian territory, they cover a lot of things.

and if you do quads indoors, and your in a 2nd or 3rd floor or sm like that, if you jump, do it on a pillow or on your bed, and if you have a rug put towels down if you don't have gloves on so you don't hurt your fingers.

oh and don't use soft blankets on the floor,, it shocked me literally

if you have a trampoline you could do some on there! Jumps are really fun to do on there :3

Be safe and take your time!

stretching is very important

Start with small walks (don’t just go for big jumps at the start)

Hand placement is very important (curling your hands into the “paw” shape)

Probably good idea to wear hand protection/start on soft surfaces indoors

Start with very slow walks with plenty of space around you

Remember it may take your body a while to get used to just like any other new activities rainbowsmile

(if i think of more I'll try and add)
