im a hopeful scene kid and i REALLY wanna find scene shirts. where do i find scene shirts? where do i find scene jackets? what are those fur hats with the ears and then theres paws and youre able to put your hand in there- WHAT ARE THEY CALLED?? I NEED TO FIND THEMM

Ik this sounds kinda weird but sum rly underrated placez4 scene shirtz is old navy +5below @ old navy u can find tonz of stuf in the boy's graphic tees section if u can fit in2 them, and the 5below sells graphic shirtz like hottopic duz but their only 5$ and ther r usually sum rly good 1z

as4 accessories my bestie buyz alot of hers frum temu (controversial ik) they r SUPER SUPER cheap but r sumtimez scam so stay safe they alzo take a longtime2 com :/

last1: build a bear

they hav this thing wher u can get a litl carrier 4ur bear and I like 2put mine in that and uz it as a custom plush backpack. just fasten the back of ur bearz head 2 the top of the carrier with a pin so they don't fallz :c

I really recommend getting transfer paper or painting shirts urself! A pack of blank shirts and paper/paint are way cheaper than stores and you can customize them exactly how u want them<3

can i throw into the mix, stay well away from fast fashion from the source ! second hand is fine, but if its marked as emo and scene dont pay too much, people will def try price things extremely. reaper

I definitely agree with thrifting and customization! You can look at online secondhand shops, ebay, and garage sales. I've bought some good punk stuff from parents selling their kids' old clothes as they go to college. If the thrift stores in your area don't have what you're looking for, consignment shops tend to have slightly higher quality used stuff (but they're also more expensive). Buying used clothes is a great option: cheaper, better for the environment, and IMO it's a lot cooler than buying fast fashion

I've had some luck buying clothes with promise at goodwill and cutting parts off.

Taking a plain t shirt and chopping off the stomach makes a cute crop top, cutting off the sleeves as well makes for something more like a tank (altho be aware cutting the sleeve off inside the circular seam will make it quite revealing of your chest. Cutting it off outside the seam but still taking most of the sleeve means I can wear them without needing a bra)

Even "womens" blouses with the right pattern can be made more edgy - one of my favs is a green and black striped long sleeved that I chopped the neck off of, making it show off my shoulders/bra straps, and the ragged edge left by using the scissors badly is very punk, I think

what the first person said - don't be afraid to diy some stuff! thrifting is usually good and inexpensive, and there are typically specialty stores that sell that kind of stuff (for a much higher price...)

kids shirts, if they fit, are pretty good (might even get lucky with a creeper hoodie). not sure about jackets, but there's probably a lot out there.

if you wanna find scene shirts, I would suggest looking in the kids sections at thrift stores. I heard that sometimes adult sized clothing with fun prints on it gets put there sometimes. Also, I've found that sometimes regular kids stuff fits me if it's marked size 14-16. if you don't fit into smaller clothes but you really like the graphic on a shirt you've found, you can make it into a patch and put it on a plain or simple pattered shirt or tank that you already have (I found a purple kids shirt with plaid skulls on it but i left it at the thrift and lowkey regret it, it would've been a sick patch)

for jackets? idk how i found mine but tbh i would just keep an eye out in the hoodies/jackets/maybe even blazers section of the thrift cause sometimes stuff is misplaced

don't overthink too much! and think outside the box. find a striped shirt you like but it's faded? dye it! i did it once with a short sleeved hooded shirt and it turned out better than i thought! sometimes tie dye will work too if you have the right ratio of cotton to other materials (ex: 50/50 cotton poly blend)

this post may b helpful!!!its a masterlist of scene clothing brands :3 in person tho, i've heard hot topic is good!!! they're at malls n stuffs thrifting can be VERY rewarding depending on where u go

and for the hats w paws, these are good and have a little variety!!! i've seen ppl say check aliexpress or ebay, but im not sure how reliable aliexpress actually is (since i haven't looked into it all that much) and heres another big post with clothing brands!!

also, a lot of these stores may b a bit expensive... thrifting is super good if ur on more of a budget !! i wish you luck!!!
