What string is most reliable?

I want to start selling kandi stuff and commissions but I'm really worried about the customer receiving the item and then it breaking. I'd feel really bad if something broke, so I was wondering what the most reliable string was?

I use the rainbow cloth-covered from Amazon and it's never broken. I'll use clear for things that need to be transparent (e.g. a Game Boy charm screen) or to attach toys, but it has a shorter lifespan. Flat plastic lace is good for some charms and keyrings.

i highly recommend staying AWAY from clear plastic string like stretch magic as i've heard from multiple people that it has a high tendency to dry rot

i don't sell stuff (yet) but i personally use this string and nothing i've made has broke on me or has the string worn out/lost elasticity

hope this helps! cheer

actually it kinda depends, i recomened clear elastic for stuff that not bracalets, for singes o anything thing you wanna hide the not in, i recomened plastic string (plastic string is that soft stetchy stuff right?) but anything else i recommend fabric covered string.

ok so cloth covered string that stretches and you can get it in bulk trough Amazon (stay away from crystal tec and the one string with multiple stretchy strands). I tie my knots obsessively so they don’t break so two regular knots and then I knot the strings to either side of the knot and then a surgical knot. And I cut it so there’s a lil bit of string to put a lighter to so it’s secure.
