(im not going to engage with comments debating the validity of scenecore as a subculture/style. frankly idc)

idrk what scenecore style is, but if ur lookin for sceney outfits, I suggest wearing any early 2000s emo band tees if u have any or even just any of ur fav band shirts; striped tights are also rly good as u said below; I have 2 pairs and they work perfectly! anything hello kitty, domo, and other early 2000s media graphic shirts are also rly good + if u have any colorful belts that too! jeans or leggings r awesome but shorts paired w striped tights look the best in my opinion. for shoes, anything goes happy ik ppl usually like converse and vans but not every1 can afford it, so if ur comfy u can always customise ur own shoes ! for accessories, theres kandi ofc, jelly bracelets, stud bracelets, sometimes ppl also wear a bow or two or some cute sunglasses and if u have the money or supplies hair extensions big grin if u don't have much of those clothings, then neon colours + black layers of clothes work as well! rainbowsmile

@glittersparkle_dog: im fat, so thigh highs tend to not fit me and slide down my legs. i also haven't had much luck with garters, though i've only ever owned one pair. do you think i could get away with wearing striped tights instead of socks? idk if that would ruin the look or not sick

also these tips are super helpful thank you so much !!!

@XEmo_TrashX: oh yeah dw i know there's a big difference between actual scene music and scenecore. i listen to a lot of scenecore music but i have been trying very hard to find some scene music to enjoy. so far i really am not a fan of like.. any of it... besides music that's like just bordering on being somewhat scene (happy hardcore like s3rl for instance)... but i would still like to dress the style, even if i tweaked it to be more scenecore than scene i guess.

and thank you so much for the tips, i really appreciate it !!

if you have converses or vans, paint the bottom (as in the white chunky part) rainbow, i did that and it looked cool.

I see a lot of bright neon colors, striped sock (like rainbow and stuff), and kandi

I’m not really for scene core but if you like that kind of music you would like hyper pop. For the shoes I’d go knee high converse if you can get them if not any chunky shoe and anything along the lines of converse or vans. Skinny jeans or just ripped jeans and shorts with bright socks are what is most common in scenecore fashion.for the top go with a colorful band tee or an unconventional jacket. of course put layered studded belts or any alternative looking belt. And the most important part is kandi.

overall just stick to bright colors and lots of accessories and beads dance
