Trouble with my family and my chosen name

My chosen name is Capgras, (it is from a song I like) but my family refuses to call me Capgras because “it’s not a real name” I prefer to use Capgras and it brings me a lot of dysphoria if they don’t use it. Plus, they don’t use my preferred pronouns. (They always use she/her, when I prefer they/them) also, my mom won’t buy me a binder cause, “my chest is too small and I’d be uncomfortable” im just incredibly upset right now and I want y’all’s opinion

for now maybe buy sporta bras and wear baggy shirts and save up to buy a binder on your own? make sure you do reaearch on the brand before hand and measure your body . if you do art maybe you can do little peices of art for people at school for some money as well guessing youre under 16. as for the family, dont immidietley abandom then, i dont know your family however if you think tehy arent like bigoted and jsut dont understand how you feel, have a conversation about it. tell them how you connect to the name and how it is more about yourr connections then being a "real" name or not. technically no names are real names, everythings amde up and youre paving your own path, i think thats great.

but make sure it is your size because getting the wrong size binder can be anything from not working to damaging to your ribs

See I would ditch them and make a new family BUT... I'm guessing you don't want that so I would just sit down with them and talk though it. Tell them how this is making you feel ask how it makes them feel and this is going to sound like a B*tch but try to come up with a compromise.
