like genuinely i dont get it sorry if im sounding like an insensitive jerk but its just big letters u cant hear me through the screen can i get a little insight on how such a thing could occur? something rlly serious must happen to totally trigger you, ive been typed in caps to in some serious situations in the past but it doesnt trigger me to see a word typed big i know everyones diff tho513b3952851d7_shrug.gif again not trying to come off disrespectful, just curious!513b55c740178_kao_sick.gif

edit: i get why someone with a screenreader or a person who struggles to read it would need a content warning but not a *trigger* warning, thats what im curious about!! ty guys

i dont get why theres tws for caps.. now if ur gonna say something all caps that may be perceived as something that is rude like "GO AWAY" or "YOU'RE SO STUPID" then yes i feel that there needs to be a tone tag or some sort of context.. sometimes it just can be giving off the feeling that someone is angry when they arent. i dont understand why someone would need tw though shrug

yall be like: "not trying to be rude" *proceeds to put down people for the triggers they have and cant control*

for me personally, it's only in aggressive tones. so if someone were to say "shut the f*ck up" in all caps, with rude intent it would trigger me to have a panic attack. but just regular caps are fine lol, i text my friends all the time like "DUDE GUESS WHAT!" the reason for me that aggressive toned caps is triggering is past trauma with a verbally abusive ex over text

hope this helps a bitw30

@TrashPuppy_Therian: that makes a lot of sense! i stil dont see why itd be considered a trigger though, maybe a content warning not a trigger warningnahim also a person who struggles with tone but i usually just ask how things are meant if i dont understand idk

I dont think it usually triggers people bc it is a cw (content warning) instead of a tw (trigger warning), but i can see that it could be connected to some form of trauma, but i think it's mainly for people who have a hard time reading the text.
