Any tips for your first convention?

This April me and an online friend will be meeting up for the second time to go to a convention down the coast but we both have no clue what's in for us We're doing a joint cosplay of Moot and WT Snacks for irony purposes, which admittedly somebody probably hasn't done since 2008 lol.

stay close, its easy to get separated with so many people around! make sure to bring a water bottle, since they're free and you'll defo be needing it later on. bring a small bag to carry around for things like phone chargers, money, and snacks. con food and stuff from dealers alley are usually pretty expensive, so you probably need more money on you than youd think, and its usually much cheaper to step out of the convention center and go to a nearby food joint or convenience store to get food. cosplay medics r ur best friend if anything breaks or needs repairing!! im personally about to be heading to my 3rd and 4th cons this year (both annual) and ive been going since 2022, so these tips were life savers when i learned them personally!!!
