i’m trying to tell whether some1 like me back or not which is rlly hard bc we’re like best friends so i can’t tell if they’re being friendly, and joking flirting or if it’s serious. pls help

Best advice i can give is just ask without admitting your own feelings "Hey do you like me non platonically? What are your opinions on our relationship currently? Would you ever want more?" "I think I am starting to like you more than a friend. Should I continue those feelings? or no possibility and I will not push it further and will keep things platonic and move on from these feelings"

there's no guilt but straight honesty

if they do not like you like that you can squash your crush. but honesty is important for this kind of situation.
