PanFreakEXE 9/29/2023 11:37 pm 488

ive been questioning if im a guy since i was 13 but ive never been sure of it because i like a lot of things that would be considered girly but being call she or young lady or anything like that makes me upset. ive just been saying im non binary for a while but im starting to think im not. im just kinda wondering if any trans guys went through something similar and could tell me how they knew they were a boy? thanks-

Well if you were assigned female at birth, but want to identify as a male, then...yeah. You can be any gender and still like anything, so you could be a tomboy too. There's also transmasc which is just trans but you prefer to present yourself as masculine. Demiboy is also another one, which is half boy, half genderless. There's no rush to finding your gender identity, so take your time. Good luck!

tbh the best way is to do whatever makes you happy. labels are confusing and difficult a lot of the time

also you can like girly things and be a guy if u want /gen /pos

Enby trans guy here! Since I was little I always thought things like "life would be easier as a guy". I experience extreme chest and voice dysphoria (though dysphoria differs from person to person)

Wise words from One Topic at A Time: "If you think you're faking it, you're probably not"

Try he/him or he/they pronouns for a while if you haven't. maybe a new name too. if you realize that this may not be for you, just go back. there's no shame in genuinely exploring your identity

i'd recommend using the Pronoun Dressing Room (safe link!) an' trying out the labels n' pronouns, n' possibly different names! it helps me a lot whenever i consider whenever I like a set o' pronouns or not :]

Unfortunately, the best way is to start presenting as male. If you can, have your friends/family use masculine language, pronouns, and possibly a new name for you.

As this is a kandi forum, I'm not gonna drop my whole life story. However, I will say this, figuring out your gender takes time. Don't be hard on yourself if you're wrong or if you just can't seem to settle on the right label or the right set of pronouns, eventually you will get it.

when i was figuring out if i was a guy i went through a similar thing, what helped me was i ask my friends to use he/him pronouns on my to see if i liked them . dont rush it, it takes time to figure out ur identity and its ok to be unlabelled for a bit (or forever). hope this helped kao happy
