september 5th is when recess for Congress ends, that dosent mean KOSA is going to the floor on september 5th.

in fact, most things go to the floor my unaimous consent, if there is one senator who is against it getting to the floor, it will have a lot harder time getting there. Yes, Ted Cruz did say it should be voted on ASAP, and then followed that up with before the end of session, its september, not december, the last day is december 15th, recess ends september 5th, AND thats just passing senate, then it has to go through the house. KOSA is no where near Biden's desk, a lot of representatives in congress most likely dont even know about it, BECAUSE its still in the senate AND not even on the floor, it hasnt even been voted to the floor.

keep calling/emailing senators guys!!

in fact, it will probably be a while before this is even voted on, BUT that does not mean we can relax and stop calling senators or stop opposing this, keep being open about the fact that you dont support this.

remember, if you call/email a senator and your a minor/under 25, MAKE SURE TO BRING UP YOUR AGE!! we have the best chance of being listened to, its not everyday that minors oppose a bill and actually try to do something about it. for example, if your 15 you would say "hello i am ___ and i am 15 years old" when calling/emailing a senator.
