hi erm my name is Nel. social media has helped me a lot through my severe depression (diagnosed) , as it as encouraged me to keep going. this September, a bill called the Kids Online Safety Act (KOSA) will be presented. Basically, it censors lots of things. Social Media access will be limited and watched. Lots of kid's mental health will decline, And lots of minors will be in danger of being outed to their parents Like me. I am a 15 year old with strict parents. I don't have a phone yet. please PLEASE if you can, call senators. Please speak out about it. Help people like me who can't. KOSA is serious and shouldn't be taken lightly. If you have a phone, have a number, have parents who are against this bill, please call your senator and tell them about it. There are many scripts online that can guide you through the call. Please remember that there are people who can't call their senator. If you are a person that can, please use this opportunity to call and talk to your senator and tell them the dangers of this bill. From another thread I've seen, you could even just email.
