gimme simple things to sew :3

my mom gave me a handsewing kit and i wanna sew stuff :] i've already made a keychain thingy out of fabric with a good texture so it can help me calm down when im anxious, i also sewed a pride patch to my comfort hoodie :3 i just wanna make things but cant think of anything lol

Sandwich style animals (two identical fabric pieces) are super easy to sew, any size from a few inches to monster throw pillow. Circle drawstring pouch. Freeform embroidery in little hoops. Sock monsters. Clothes for your plushies. Fleece hats. Pennants or bunting. L'il flags. Check out your fabric store's remnant section and see if there's anything you love the look/feel of and it will tell you what it wants to be. (If you want felt, wool felt is a million times better than craft felt.) Cholyknight.com has a bunch of free plush and craft patterns.

sew patches onto stuff!! i recommend using a whipstitch! it’s super easy to learn and takes no time at all to sew

small bag ! or another small bag. sew those weird shiny bead string necklaces to something to glam it up. sew buttons on random things. sew beads onto things too who cares.
