Made my first kandi :D

Hii, I'm new here! One of my friends gifted me some simple bracelets recently and I wanted to make some of my own! I've made four singles so far and I posted pictures of them on here!

Btw waiting for beads to arrive is the WORST. I still am waiting on my black/white beads, so many of my ideas need those... they should be here tomorrow though!

I want to learn how to make a kandi gas mask at one point, but that will take a while. I only know how to make singles (and maybe doubles) so far haha. But I'll get there one day

I don't really remember, but I think I tried starting with cuffs? YEAH- my first was a black w/autumn colours multistitch. I might still have it even!

tip: start with stars and flower cuffs after singles!

My first kandi was a single that said Sylveon and had the trans flag colors. The beads were way smaller than normal pony beads cause i was confused lol. I had to have my mom tie it cause i was only 11 and didn’t know how to tie a square knot somehow

surprisingly i dont think i did a single as my first kandi (if i remember correctly.) my first was a rainbow multistitch cuff, my stepsibling taught me how to make it :] it ended up being too small tho so i gave it to my little sister

@50_shadez_of_green: i've been using cloth covered string yeah!! i did get some clear nylon as a bonus for one of the mixes i ordered but I haven't used it

i think my first kandi was some ankle bracelets made with pipe cleaners and pony beads from dollar tree, they were based off fnaf security breach characters

and i think my first single was either a miku or joxter one, i dont rlly remember anymore

and yea waiting for beads to arrive is the worst because you dont know if they're actually what the person said they were, how good quality, and sometimes it takes a while for them to arrive

I was on vacation when I first saw someone made a Kandi tie and I was like woah what is that? So I did some research figured out what Kandi was and found a whole community so I was like I want to do that so I begged my mom to take me to Walmart while we were still on vacation to get some beads and I made my first Kandi that night! Now I have many beads and a crap ton of Kandi ^_^ it was a green and pink x based cuff!
