resources about alphabets, fonts and text?

i thought it would be helpful if there were references and guidelines for adding letters to your pattern.

i used to be into pixel art. people would make a whole alphabet out of pixels to refer back to when making a sentence.

something ppl also did in my pixel days was guide you on how to make aesthetically pleasing lines. for example making curves, diagonal lines other than 45 degrees, how to pixel a circle.

are there any resources for kandi patterns like that?

where do you think it would be ebest to put them if i made some?

@Phosfate: Wait, now that I say that, crosstitch lettering might be useful for Perler. With peyote and pals it's gonna be a matter of making bugs into features.

I wish you would. I've done hand lettering and stitched lettering all my life, but this is like trying to make a Lego person out of tennis balls.
